The Junior League of Youngstown will host Regina as its speaker for The Pink Ribbon Tea to celebrate breast cancer survivors. The event takes place at The Georgetown, 5945 South Avenue, Boardman, OH 44512 on Sept. 27 at 11 a.m.
The tea began in 1994. Costs for survivors to attend are covered through personal donations by Junior League members and the support of the event underwriters.

Race for the Cure

Regina will be the honorary survivor chair at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Northeast Ohio on Saturday, Sept. 11 at the Wolstein Center in Downtown Cleveland.
You can register online until Sept. 8 or in person the day of the race from 6 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Registration costs $30 and the money is used to help eradicate breast cancer and improve the lives of survivors.
The survivor ceremony is the most powerful part of the day, so don't miss it. It takes place at 8 a.m. The 5K race/walk starts at 9:30 a.m. For more information, see the above website or call 216-292-2873.
