Join me for "The Regina Brett Show" every Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. EST on WKSU 89.7 FM, Northeast Ohio's NPR affiliate. You can also tune in at www.wksu.org/regina.

Every week I sit in front of a microphone, put on a headset and watch the clock silently count down in red the seconds until the music hits and announces we’re live. Lesson 22, from my book God Never Blinks: 50 Lessons for Life’s Little Detours provides my mantra for the show: Overprepare and go with the flow. You never know where a guest or a caller will take you. That’s the thrill of live radio.

You’re probably familiar with public affairs shows, well, this is an internal affairs show. “The Regina Brett Show,” an hour-long live call-in show, features guests with insights and tips to help people navigate life’s detours and create a greater life for themselves and others. Shows will revolve around life’s transitions and universal issues of home, health, work, community and finding balance.

If you want to listen to the radio show, here are a few of my favorites:
Bullied to Death
Handwriting
Work and Life
Severe Mental Illness
Revisiting Vietnam
