All the best,
“My name is Mariana. I'm from Salta, Argentina. Your book is beautiful. I was excited by each of its pages. It has inspired me to make small, big changes in my life. Thanks for letting me into your life!"
"You saved me. Your book saved me. At the age of 29 I decided to go back to school and finally earn my bachelors degree. I left a great paying job and moved to a new town. Then I graduated, and life became miserable for me. I had lost my faith in everything. I drank at night just so I could fall asleep. I even sat on my bed one night holding anxiety pills and wondering if I took all of them if I could silently fall asleep and never wake up. I had nothing to live for.
Then an old friend called me and asked me to lunch at a coffee shop in a bookstore. I came across your book, God Never Blinks. I cried through most of it. You made me realize it was time to stop feeling sorry for myself, to "take the next right step" to fix what made me unhappy. I prayed for the first time in years and told God I was sorry for blaming everything on Him. I realized I needed to stop looking for a husband and worrying whether I will ever have kids and to enjoy my little niece who loved spending time with her auntie. Also I stopped worrying about my debt, I pay my bills on time and pay over the minimum payment and that's the best I can do right now. I stopped drinking, joined a gym, started painting, played my guitar, and chose life. I thanked my sister for letting me live in her house so I can pay off my debt, Then my friend that I met in the coffee shop at the bookstore called to tell me she has the perfect job for me, and it was! You taught me how to be happy again. I still have a lot to work on but your book has changed me for the better. I will forever be grateful and God bless you for saving me."

“I am married and father of a wonderful three year old. A friend of mine just e-mailed me your column of life lessons. Since I am going through a rough time, the tears started rolling almost immediately but when I reached No. 45, "The best is yet to come," I was filled with this strange but yet calming sense of tranquility. Even if this feeling last for an instant, I am grateful that your words found me tonight. Thanks for this powerful life lesson.” – Ariel in Mexico
“I am an ordinary person in an ordinary life and your lessons hit me like a brick. They made me feel significant and lasting. I have 2 children with 3 grandchildren and they are the joy and laughter the love and beauty that I see every day. I am so in love with them. But until I read your lessons I had forgotten me. I misplaced me somehow and I just wanted to say thank you. I got so caught up in the dark side and lost the light. Your writing has shown a light again. What a gift that is for someone so ordinary as I. I pray you write for many more years to come and give many more like me the joy of such great words.” – Robin in Liberty, Mo.
